Many women worked as spies for Great Britain during WWII. A few of the most famous female spies being Lillian Rolfe, Denise Bloch, and Violette Szabo. French women also worked as spies during WWII though they were mainly used for short-range intelligence work. They served as spies for the Office of Strategic Service, or the OSS, after the invasion of southern France. Amongst these women, Odette and Simon were two who worked for France. These two women were resistance fighters and intelligence workers who discovered information critical to the resistance movement of France.
